Job Description

We are seeking a talented Security Systems Engineer with a strong exp in embedded software to join our team and ensure the security and reliability of chassis management systems.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement security solutions for the chassis management system to protect against cyber threats.Conduct security assessments, including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessments, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.Integrate security features such as encryption, authentication, and secure boot into the embedded software of the chassis management system.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to ensure comprehensive security measures.Perform security testing, including penetration testing and code reviews, to validate the effectiveness of security implementations.Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of the chassis management system.Develop and maintain documentation related to security requirements, design specifications, and testing procedures.Essential SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in embedded software development and cybersecurity, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of embedded operating systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller architectures.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as ISO, ISO/SAE, and NIST.Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms, secure coding practices, and security testing tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of functional safety standards and practices.Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
