Position Summary: The Security Technician will troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain access control systems, electronic key systems, locking devices, IP video surveillance, and any other hardware related to those systems and devices. Primary Responsibilities: + Prepare and submit reports as required + Install, maintain, and repair locking devices and related hardware, including low voltage electric door hardware. + Install, maintain, and repair video surveillance systems including cameras and software. + Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair access control, alarm, and video systems and all related components + Program alarm systems, access systems, and IP video surveillance systems + Exemplify, promote and foster our purpose of Committed to Excellence through our Core Values of Customers, Employees, Character and Mastery + All other duties as assigned and required Required Qualifications: + Good understanding of security cabling, connectors, door hardware, and installation of cameras and software + Must have two years of experience in access control + Must understand the fundamentals of electricity including relay logic circuits + Must have a valid driver’s license + Must possess the ability to read blueprints and hear tones and audio from test and operational equipment + Strong organizational skills are required + Exceptional customer service skills are a must + Looking for certified techs with access control and IP camera experience, preferably familiarity with the following manufacturers: Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, HID or similar. Education and Experience: + A high school diploma or equivalent + Must have a minimum of two years of experience in the security field + Experience with low voltage wiring and knowledge of the aspects of security equipment (cameras, mag-locks, panels, etc.) installation CECM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
