**Job Title: Security Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician experienced in servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of access control, IP cameras, intrusion, and visitor management systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and programming networked IP video and access control systems, servicing commercial alarm and IoT systems, and providing exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform installation work as designated in a profitable and proper manner using mainly Bosch, Lenel/S2, OpenPath, Gentec, etc.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance work in accordance with the service program designated for a specific customer.
+ Accurately maintain all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
+ Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
+ Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in a proper manner.
+ Present a neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
+ Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle and keep inventory log.
+ Test equipment before leaving the job site and perform a safety check.
+ Maintain good customer relations and provide excellent customer service.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion systems.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems, including working on the customer's network.
+ Ability to program with technologies such as Gentec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath, Prowatch, Genetech, Access, and Bosch.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
+ 3-5 years of alarm or electrical installation/service experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior experience servicing or installing automated doors.
+ Experience in electrical, HVAC, construction, or communication fields.
+ Ability to clearly interpret and read blueprints.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in multiple high-end enterprise facilities on high-level projects. Expect 10% travel, covering all of Indiana with rare overnight stays. Clients include Marathon Gas Stations, Crew Car Wash, and Anthem, focusing mainly on commercial and some industrial projects. No residential work involved.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
