Allied Universal® is hiring a Client Billed Clerical - Trainer. The Security Trainer is responsible for conducting training activities in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards. This Security Trainer will train CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms), Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway), Fire Safety Services (emergency plans; occupants, floor wardens and staff presentations; and evacuation drills), and other value-added services such as workplace violence/active shooter training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in conjunction with operational partners (Human Resource Coordinators/Branch Managers) to develop practical training programs at the client and branch level, in order to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory mandated trainingIdentify, conduct vetting, and establish relationships with local training academies in order to provide support in the form of external training opportunitiesCommunicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Field and Corporate Training, and Clients)Deliver field training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standardsConduct CPR/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) trainingConduct Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms) trainingConduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway) trainingConduct field training for Security Professionals and SupervisorsDeliver Fire/Life Safety Services (e.g., emergency plans; occupants, floor wardens, and staff presentations; and evacuation drills), and other value-added services such as workplace violence/active shooter trainingConduct leadership training such as Supervisor Essentials and White Glove Customer Service to Security Professionals and SupervisorsConduct special projects on an as-needed basis to support the regionQUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalentPass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required to include, but not limited to:CPR/First Aid/AED Certified InstructorInstructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by local office (i.e., OC Spray, Baton Techniques, Handcuffing, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Defensive Tactics, Taser certification, Practical Driver Training Courses, or any other client-specific training as required)Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicleMinimum of two (2) years of classroom instructor experienceAbility to work independently with little to no direct supervisionOutstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clientsAbility to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is requiredHighly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
National Rifle Association (NRA) Law Enforcement Instructor certification, or able to meet all NRA Law Enforcement (LE) eligibility requirementsCollege coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or related fieldPrior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement and/or militaryExperience in security operations or other functions of security industryBENEFITS:
