JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for coordinating all required company and state security training for all members. Provide onsite training and be responsible for maintaining and keeping accurate records of all security personnel, and ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of the client’s employees, as well as its property, visitors, vendors, and anyone conducting business at the facility.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Duties include reporting to the client and company staff of any issues or concerns which may arise. This includes all of the daily functions and/or emergencies which may occur.

Determine the nature of problems encountered at the client’s facility and develop countermeasures. Operate all equipment and vehicles required to accomplish the required tasks involved with this position. Develop training plans required by state and company protocols and training schedules to be approved by Security management. Assist in the development of site-specific SOPs in accordance with client and company policies for Security management approval. Conduct training with staff personnel and maintain training records. Conduct and audit security officer new hire training. Control access to the client site or facility, assisting visitors and screening employees efficiently. Provide a courteous and respectful atmosphere for clients and visitors. Communicate openly and honestly, providing site information as needed. Monitor entrances and exits, preventing unapproved or unlawful entry. Patrol the assigned site, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, or security violations. Protect evidence or scenes of incidents during emergencies or security investigations. Prepare logs or reports, and inspect security control logs, taking action as required. Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities. Respond to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other emergencies following established procedures. Perform Emergency Medical Care duties, removing victims from accidents or catastrophes when necessary. Perform other related duties as specified by the client or company. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct new officer onboarding (training, gear, equipment, PPE). Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual training topics and ensure completion. Schedule and host quarterly audit and review sessions. Schedule and conduct training for Childcare Center staff. Conduct hotwork training classes for both TMMI and contractors. Develop and conduct training drills, exercises, and reflections. Review reflections (runs and drills) and develop improvement plans for identified gaps. Conduct call audits to ensure safety standards and procedures are followed. Other duties as requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. 3+ Years of Onsite Experience.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Knowledge of or ability to learn all security operations and procedures. Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances. Courteous telephone/computer manner. Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization. Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports. Good organizational skills. Ability to provide high-quality customer service. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures. WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)

Maintaining composure when dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public under pressure. Exposure to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals. Must meet company standards for background checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection surveys, in addition to mandatory licensing requirements. May be required to work overtime with or without advance notice. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain. Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crawling. Lifting/moving emergency assistance or equipment, potentially exceeding 70 pounds. May require vehicle use. Exposure to inclement weather and protective gear may be needed.
