Pay based on experience | 421 North 10th Street, Winterset, IA 50273, USA | Full Time AGRILAND FS is looking for a sales and strategy driven Seed Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for consistent, profitable seed sales growth and market share growth. As a Seed Sales Manager, you will lead, guide, and educate the AGRILAND FS sales and support team through trainings and in the field experiences. Core Responsibilities: + Provide marketing and sales leadership for the District Seed Sales Specialists, Crop Specialists, and location teams. + Work closely with Agronomy Sales Managers to develop seed strategies and best practices that will be predictive of seed growth and success. + Lead implementation of all seed strategies and programs to meet objectives. + Provide proactive leadership for training/developmental plans that improves marketing effectiveness and serves as foundation for seed sales across the sales team. + Establish seed performance standards, goals and development/implementation of business plans for achieving company financial objectives. + Identify and implement best practices which lead to strong financial performance and outstanding customer service. + Provide input for company seed marketing, operational, business and procurement strategies and program development. + Assist in providing technical information for agronomy, seed sales and marketing. What we need from you: + Bachelor's degree in Agronomy Business or equivalent thereof, plus 5-7 years' sales experience + Sales and leadership experience + Knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products + Knowledge of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts + Sales leadership and knowledge of closing techniques + Ability to build relationships, identify producer needs and make multi-product proposals + Planning, time management and organizational skills + Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
