Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Processing and Packaging Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of indoor material processing and packaging activities, including receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, and shipping of seed products. You will also be responsible for operating equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all operation procedures are followed accurately.
ResponsibilitiesReceive, scan, clean, treat, sort, count, label, and ship seed products.Operate and maintain equipment used in material processing and packaging.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations.Follow established operation procedures to maintain efficiency and safety.Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Excel and Word, for various tasks.Essential Skills1 year of relevant experience in material processing and packaging.Proficiency in MS Office, including Microsoft Excel and Word.Ability to operate and maintain processing and packaging equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in research or manufacturing is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a temperature-controlled warehouse/manufacturing facility, with one area/room designated as a cooler. The environment is designed to ensure comfort and efficiency for all employees.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Huxley, Iowa.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
