WHAT WE WILL EXPECT FROM YOU
As a part time Seed Technician, you will be allowed to work a maximum of 29 hours a week. You will be involved in all facets of row crop seed production (corn, soy & cotton). You will experience a variety of responsibilities throughout the growing season. In spring and summer, you will be assigned to teams supporting a variety of responsibilities. You could spend time inspecting and maintaining our seed crops or you could support seed inventory management. We also have teams doing maintenance on our agriculture equipment.

WHO YOU ARE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED;Basic knowledge of and ability to use information technology systems and applications;Valid Driver’s License (To be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers – MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening;)Willing and able to work peak season, including weekends and holidays;Ability to communicate verbally and written;Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, walk on uneven surfaces.
MORE ABOUT YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate equipment and systems leveraging real-time data/technology according to existing procedures;Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occur;Assist in the preparation of key process documentation; provide support in administrative procedures, documenting key readings, maintenance orders and production information leveraging data systems;Participate in DDS (Daily Direction setting) meetings;Adhere to Bayer’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) standards;Engage in continuous improvement programs;Comply with internal procedures and support compliance with legal requirements applicable to local area;Perform duties and tasks as assigned.
Employees can expect to be paid $24.40 - $30.67/hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors. Domestic relocation is not available for this position.
