Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA is recruiting for a full-time experienced Certified Nurse Midwife!

We are looking for flexible, energetic, highly motivated candidates who demonstrate strong relationship building skills, strong clinical skills, and the desire to provide quality care.  Principal responsibilities include inpatient triage in an OB/ED setting, working as a team with RNs, averaging 275 deliveries per month with supportive and collaborative OB/GYN practices.  If you’re ready to make a greater impact, you can do it here.

Position Highlights:

SLH’s high-volume OB-ED triage handles approximately 3,400 patients annually.Experienced and well supported team of 7 CNMsPrimary responsibilities include the triage and medical management of pregnant patients at 20 weeks or more, with surgical assistance in emergency situations as required.Opportunities to cover deliveries Light on-call schedule: 12-hour shifts, averaging twice a month.
