Recreation: This community owns eight recreational centers, thirty-four developed parks, twenty-two undeveloped parks or under construction, five baseball fields, and four plazas. The Unitrade Stadium-Located just 2.4 miles away from campus, the $18-million dollar stadium was designed by the Dallas based company HKS which was the architect of record for Cowboys Stadium in Irving.

The Softball Field has been home of the TAMIU softball team since the program began in 2007.  The Field offers dugouts for both teams and a press box. The Jorge Haynes Field has served as the home and practice field for the Texas A&M International University baseball team since 2007. The field has a seating capacity of 500 and has dimensions of 320 feet in Left Field, 380 feet in Center Field, and 300 feet in Right Field.
