As an ‘Segment Architect’ – join S2 Analytical Solutions and the customer to facilitate the mission of national security and humanitarian leadership by shaping information-driven decision-making with innovative IT solutions!
Job Overview: As a seasoned Segment Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and aligning enterprise-level business solutions within a specific domain (e.g., finance, human resources, sales) for the customer. Your expertise lies in understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with the overall architectural landscape.
Duties:
Domain-Specific Solutions:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs within your assigned domain.Design and develop enterprise-level solutions that address specific business challenges.Ensure alignment with overall architectural standards and strategic goals.Integration and Coordination:Reuse architectural output from other architects to create cohesive solutions.Integrate detailed technical solutions into the broader architectural landscape.Coordinate with other architects to maintain consistency and avoid redundancy.
Business Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions on business processes and operations.Provide recommendations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Consider scalability, security, and performance implications.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams.Present architectural proposals and gain buy-in from relevant stakeholders.Address concerns and adapt solutions based on feedback. Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Information Systems).Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, preferably with domain-specific expertise.Proficiency in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
