Job Summary:
This role is highly visible with exposure to the Life Sciences leadership team, and strategic decision-makers within our customer base for Life Sciences. The Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and training our sales teams to effectively deliver upon the go to market strategy solution-based value proposition, and strategic positioning/targeting leveraging various sales channels. This is an influential position that reports to the Life Science Solutions Segment Marketing Leader and is responsible for driving the achievement of annual and quarterly revenue and gross margin results.

What you will do:
Trane Technologies Life Science Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Segment Marketing Manager to join the organization specifically focused on supporting the precision cold storage value chain for the biosciences market segment which incudes but is not limited to life sciences research & development, biopharma manufacturing, biotechnology, biorepositories, contract research and contract manufacturing organizations, and third-party logistics providers. The Segment Marketing Manager intersects with and drives collaborative execution across our marketing, product management, and sales organizations and is responsible for crafting the Trane Technologies Life Science Solutions value proposition, marketing campaigns, programs, tools, and training to align with the unique customer needs of the segment.As a subject matter expert on the segment, products, and services you support, you will play a pivotal role in building, executing, and managing all aspects of comprehensive segment marketing strategies designed to drive value creation and empower our internal customers to effectively deliver the Trane Technologies Life Sciences Solutions story and move our external customer efficiently through the sales cycle.The ideal candidate is agile, collaborative, self-motivated, adept at navigating a complex matrixed organization, comfortable navigating and solving ambiguous problems, and excited by the opportunity to strategize, build, and execute comprehensive programs that drive business results.Core areas of focus and critical key outputs include, but are not limited to:Segment Growth Strategy Planning & ExecutionSupporting customer segmentation and targeting, persona development, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and key opinion leader development.Driving product commercialization support and resources to maximize portfolio penetration within the biopharma segment.Demand Generation & Marketing Communication SupportCrafting and aligning segment-specific value proposition strategies, key messaging, and communications – help tell our story both internally and externally in a way that supports our strategic vision and business growth goals.Collaborating with marketing communication and product management peers to create content that supports campaigns and communication initiatives in the biopharma segment.Defining ideal customers and key market personas and developing aligning value proposition messaging strategies to maximize engagement.Customer/Sales Champion to Drive Achievement to PlanKeeping the customer at the heart of what we do through VOC and value delivery support – keep a pulse on market trends, critical customer needs, and alignment of internal goals/vision to the overall needs of the market.Owning and executing targeted strategies, campaigns, programs, and initiatives that drive business success – work collaboratively and cross functionality to develop, deliver, manage, and assess critical sales enablement strategies to drive sales effectiveness and overall business results.Partnering with members of the sales organization to support and advance key opportunities.Use data-backed KPIs to monitor and assess efficacy and recognize opportunities for improvement and/or growth.What you will bring:
7-10 years of experience in marketing management. A specific focus on capital equipment in the life science industry (biopharma manufacturing, biotechnology, bioproduction, and/or life sciences research & development) is highly preferred.A growth-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.Analytical and financial skills to allow you to make data-driven decisions independently or provide appropriate recommendations to key stakeholders based on the situation.Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence/inspire (highly collaborative across a variety of functions)Strategic thinker with proven ability to deliver measurable results.Ability to travel up to 25%.Compensation:
$117,900-148,500, plus bonus
