JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News Media is looking for a dedicated Segment Producer to become part of The Five's team in New York. The Segment Producer will assist the line producer with daily segments, topics, talent coordination, and guest preparation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to line produce some segments.

 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop questions, content, and visual materials for guest-driven parts of the show

Produce segments in their entirety, starting with original story pitch to content development and graphics creation

Collaborate with on-air talent to select topics, script intros, and shape on-air discussions

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

5+ years’ experience in the production of television news

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, alongside strong negotiation and presentation skills

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong analytical skills

Ability to multitask effectively while adjusting to changing priorities and meeting strict daily deadlines

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $67,000.00-87,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
