Segmentation / Marketing Intern
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Segmentation / Marketing Intern to join the Email Operations / Marketing team. This position is located in our New York, NY office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.
Job Overview:
Email Ops
This part of the internship will revolve mainly around email segmentation. Having multiple brands send communications out of the same platform creates a lot of challenges in making sure we’re sending the correct people the correct emails. This part of the email ops department creates new segments, modifies and audits existing segments to ensure that the correct people are receiving the correct communications.
Marketing
This part of the internship will require you to support the seamless execution of marketing campaign initiatives, from daily task management to performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Email Ops
Will learn our process on building segments in order to help in creating new / modifying existing segments when needed
Help in the process of logging segments as requests come in from various requests
Audit counts for our NL and Promo base segments to make sure sales has up to date numbers on subscribers
Help us facilitate using more segmentation within the BMG side of the business
Collaborate with PRI and Email ops in shared projects
PRI Marketing
Support management of tasks in our marketing queue, providing regular status updates, and ensuring timely completion.
Assist in maintaining and updating tracking dashboards to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Conduct analysis of program performance, identifying trends and key takeaways to inform strategic decisions.
Provide support for campaign launches, including coordination and execution of essential tasks.
Skills and Requirements:
Email Ops/Marketing: Not necessary but someone pursuing a marketing or general business degree preferred.
What We Offer:
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $16.50/hr.
Start Date/ Duration: June 16, 2025 to August 15, 2025 (9 weeks)
Schedule: 32 hours a week; Hybrid; Summer Fridays
