A SEIT SDA O&I/GMI I&T Engineer job opportunity is open with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. As a systems/software I&T engineer for SDA O&I/GMI program, you"ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field with 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
* Responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
* Responsible for Satellite and Ground Satellite communications
* Responsible for Ground Operations
* Perform Test automation
* Perform Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a US Citizen
* Department of Defense Secret Security must be obtainable within reasonable time
* Bachelor"s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field with 8+ years of job-related experience OR
* Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
* Satellite communications knowledge
* Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
* Ground operations experience
* Agile experience preferred.
* DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools: AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker,
Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
* CI/CD pipeline development knowledge
* Test automation experience
* Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience
* Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle
* Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
* Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
* Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
