Job Summary
The SEL Consultant Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and guidance for Josselyn's SEL Consultant program. The supervisor oversees assessments and level of intervention for each student. Provides weekly consultation groups for SEL consultants, individually and full group. Supervisor supports in the roll out of school-based interventions which include consultation and education to school personnel and direct interventions to students. The SEL Supervisor provides school guidance for referral systems and best practices for SEL supports in schools. SEL supervisor works closely with MTSS team to streamline protocols, systems, and communication. Supervisor also sees a small caseload of clients when not providing supervision for consultant program. The supervisor is held accountable for all related school based SEL needs, administrative, and Quality and Compliance responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
+ The supervisor will collaborate with MTSS personnel to select appropriate students to receive intervention. The supervisor will create referral and assessment forms, as needed, for school support members/teachers to complete upon referral for services. Supervisor will provide appropriate guidance to supervises on best practices for working with students/school staff with SEL supports.
+ Supervisor will provide SEL intervention curriculum as determined by student needs- collect by SEL Consultant and school-based data. The supervisor will oversee and coach each SEL consultant to provide guidance for how to best run SEL groups. Supervisor will support school locations by rolling out threat assessments or other crisis support, under school supervision.
+ The supervisor will act as a liaison between school and Josselyn (or other community services) to provide a higher level of support for students and families.
+ The supervisor will assess and create teacher professional development (MHFA and other trainings).
+ When appropriate, Josselyn SEL supervisor will support consultants/school location during disciplinary process by conducting peer-peer mediation, brief crisis support, under school supervision and protocols. Supervisor will not assign discipline or consult with families regarding discipline incident.
+ Support a small caseload of clients through Josselyn clinical therapy services
Qualifications
+ Master's related graduate degree in social work or education required.
+ 3+ years' experience working in school systems.
+ 3+ years' experience working directly with Mutli-Tiered Support System (MTSS).
+ Experience and demonstrated success in implementing student behavioral intervention strategies.
+ LCSW/LCPC preferred.
+ Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical and school-based work.
