**Job Description** **SEMCO - Summer Student Program 2025 (Field Operations Only)** SEMCO Energy provides meaningful summer employment to qualified students based on the Company's business needs. Placement is based on the student's college rank, qualifications, career goals, prior relevant work experience, and performance evaluation. The Summer Student Program will run from April 7th through August 31st, 2025. Eligibility for summer employment will be determined as follows: + The student must be driving and possess a valid driver’s license for at least a year and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Safe Driving Policy. + The student must be a child of an active employee, disabled employee, retiree, or referral. + Only one student per eligible employee or retiree will be hired as a summer employee annually. + A maximum of 4 years of employment is available for each eligible student. **The last three restrictions may be waived based on business needs or geographic availability.** The hourly wage for Summer 2025 is $15 per hour, or $17 per hour for returning students. **For Canadian hires** : AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
