Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., overtime as needed, including weekends.
Job Summary: Conducts preventative maintenance and required maintenance on equipment and structures in the Mill. Conducts maintenance activities including but not limited to, greasing, parts/equipment replacement, trouble shooting, welding/cutting, equipment design and installation, structure repair, inspection of equipment, product protection during maintenance, and reconciliation of parts and tools. Also, Responsible for insuring that equipment and areas are clean following maintenance activities, and do not pose potential contamination issues.
Basic Qualifications
Must be at least age 21, have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be willing to climb up to 200 feet high. Must be willing to lift up to 100 pounds.Must be willing to learn pipe / sheet metal welding and fabrication. Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time. Must be willing to be trained to operate heavy machinery. (Bobcat, Forklift, and Front End Loader.) Must be willing to be trained to do necessary paperwork. Must be able to be trained to operate the control room. Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day. Must read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
