Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Equipment Technician who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our semiconductor processing equipment. The Semiconductor Equipment Technician will be responsible for executing repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities across various processing areas including Epi, Diffusion, HiPox, Plasma Deposition, Plasma Etch, Wet Etch, Metal Evaporation, Photolithography, Grind, RF/DC Test, and Metrology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Perform repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities on semiconductor processing equipment. Assist in the commissioning of new fabrication equipment and troubleshooting process problems. Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair systems. Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory of parts. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures within the cleanroom environment. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding equipment status and repairs. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor fabrication repair and maintenance. Technical education preferred in electronics and/or mechanics, offset by experience. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and handling toxic chemicals and gases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills and data entry. Shift: Full-time, day or night shifts available (6:00 am - 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm - 6:00 am). Rotation schedule includes either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday, or Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday after orientation and training on a 5x8 day-shift schedule.
