Schedule: Night Shift, M-F
Pay Rate: $22-23.50/hr
Location: Albany, NY

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect, prepare, image, and document the structure and/or composition of nanostructures related to semiconductor devices.Development and optimization of sample preparation and analysis techniquesTrain new users on sample Preparation and Analysis EquipmentUpdate and maintain Training and certification documents for sample Preparation and Analysis EquipmentActively participate and contribute to continuous FIB Operations efficiency improvementPossible responsibilities could include in FAB operations

Requirements:

BS degree in Physical Science or equivalent experience is requiredPrevious hands-on experience with X-SEMPrevious hands-on experience with FIB and/or STEM/TEMProficient use of handling samples with 5mm with tweezers requiredExperience working in a FAB environment is desiredThe unrestricted right to work in the USA is required

Physical Effort/Activities:

Job duties include the preparation and handling of small samples for analysis. The candidate should be comfortable manipulating small samples (less than 5mm) and tools (tweezers, screwdriver, scribe, etc.) under a microscope.  Ability to work Compressed Work Week Night Shift (i.e. 7pm – 7am or 12am - 12pm) and weekends is required.
