The Senior, Product Engineer position requires well developed and demonstrated qualification in mechanical design engineering. This position will also provide engineering support related to the analysis of cost reductions, customer returns, material substitutions, engineering changes and deviations.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Cost Reduction: Provide engineering support to improve or modify existing designs, aiming to reduce costs and bring valuable contributions, while meeting financial objectives and engineering timelines. Product Extensions: Design and develop product modifications and improvements for existing products within established guidelines. Perform detailed analysis for stress and flow prediction using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other engineering analysis tools as required. Engineering Change Notices: Coordinate with diverse teams to effectively implement designs into global operations. Thorough implementation is critical and requires careful planning when updating Bill of Materials, drawings, marketing communications, engineering/manufacturing procedures, inventory transition, 3rd party approvals, etc. Engineer to Order: Support application engineering, order entry, and global operations for inquiries related to product performance, tolerances, materials of construction, etc. Product Approvals: Create new, and maintain existing, product approvals, e.g. UL, PED, ATEX, CRN, etc. Apply the necessary codes for each world area, build technical files, and submit calculations and risk/hazard analysis to satisfy multiple third-party approval agencies. Who You Are: Our senior-level engineer leads multi-discipline global support for our Pressure Management, they are responsible for managing their workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. They will apply their knowledge and expertise in engineering methodologies to act as a technical lead for global engineering teams and mentor less experienced engineers, technicians, and co-ops/interns. Individuals should be able to showcase a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. High mechanical aptitude Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of GD&T Familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes Familiar with PED/EN334/EN14382 Experience with Amesim tool Experience with ANSYS FEA analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Advanced English Industrial/mechanical/electrical engineering desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an added advantage. Our Offer To You:
