As a part of Enterprise Business Services, Corporate Affairs Tech team in India that works on building solutions various business functions for multiple Walmart markets, your design and solution will have a significant impact on day-to-day running of Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple applications, large number of users and data.

What you'll do:

Through this role you have an opportunity to develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns.You will show your skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work.You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.

What you'll bring:

Minimum 7+ years of object-oriented programming experience in SQL Programming and Data Engineering3+ years of experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems. Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.Hands-on experience in building API’s using technologies (Java, Springboot, Microservices)Hands on in Data-modeling, ETL, Distributed DB managementGood in writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures.Experience in developing and consuming REST API .Good to have exposure in data streams like Kafka.Working knowledge on Linux platform and good in scripting .Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and data engineeringKnowledge on Restful/SOAP web services.Knowledge on unit testing frameworks (Junit) and code quality control platforms like Sonar .CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOpsDemonstrated ownership for development and design of a few modules/features in a product.Working knowledge of SQL Server DB and No Sql database technologies.Hands on development skills to prototype technical solutions.Ability to adapt to change quickly, willingness to learn new and emerging technologies.Good communication and interpersonal skillsLarge scale distributed systems experience, including scalability and fault tolerance. Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools. Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms Excellent oral and written communication skills
