Senior, Technical Support Engineer
Senior, Technical Support Engineer About the Role: As a member of our Technical Support Team, you will be responsible for helping users get the most out of their investment in our printers, by addressing software-related technical problems and providing guidance on resolving issues. You will also help define and implement state-of-the-art tools, processes and other forms of communication to facilitate successful adaptation of 3D Systems products. You will be expected to use Salesforce for managing customer cases and Jira for logging software defects. Updating case history and delivering high-value technical support articles for a public facing knowledge base as needed. You must demonstrate you are a team player and able to work independently, as you will work with many teams internal to 3D Systems, including QA, Development, Product Management, Field Sales, Training and Technical Communications. What You Will Bring: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent years of work experience. * At least 5 years’ general PC troubleshooting skills and computer networking, knowledge of Windows operating systems and drivers. * Priorities are established by supervisor; however, employees are expected to manage their workload independently. * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. * Capable of translating knowledge of approaches, tools & techniques into technical documentation. * Excellent oral and written communication and people skills are a must. * Computer networking knowledge such as firewalls, anti-virus tools, and ip lookups a big plus. **Title:** *Senior, Technical Support Engineer* **Location:** *SC-Rock Hill* **Requisition ID:** *2500001M*
