Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Responsibilities:Design, analysis, development, implementation, and deployment of core insurance application, as well as providing support.Work independently and within a team of developers to deliver end-to-end web solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment.Supervise and mentor junior team members both onshore and offshore.Define, design, implement, improve, and support ETL solutions.Develop and maintain the software framework and services using the .NET framework and Microsoft technologies.Contribute to and lead architecture and design activities.Interact with business analyst/Client(s) to understand business problem(s) being addressed by the project.Review project requirements and assess and estimate the necessary time-to-completion.Create unit test plans and scenarios for development unit testing.Work with peers to carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development.Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed.Interact with other development teams to ensure a consistent approach to software development.Closely follow software development best practices.Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools.Deploy all integration artifacts to a testing and production environment.Web development in Microsoft technologies: VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#, Ajax, XML/XSLT/XPATH, ADO.net, Object oriented programming.Requirements:Strong familiarity with .NET technologies and strong design skills. Previous experience in .Net 3.5 or higher, SQL Server 2008 or higher, OOP, XML/XSLT/XPATH, ADO.NET,VB.NET, C#, SSIS, SSRS and Web Services is required. Working knowledge on HTML5, jQuery, and SharePoint is preferred.Experience with Microsoft Excel based reporting from web applications.Strong understanding of .NET Fundamentals (Interfaces, inheritance etc.).Develop ASP.Net web services, windows services and WCF.Experience with Visual Studio 2008 or higher, Source Control ‐ TFS 2008, SQL Server 2008. (2012 a plus).Working knowledge on HTML5, jQuery, and SharePoint is preferred.Experience with SSIS and SSRS.Software Development Life Cycle methodologies especially Agile Development methodology and scrum process.
