Job Description

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer for a contract-to-hire OR Direct hire in the south Denver area.  In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and maintaining ASP.Net and C# based web applications and tools supporting internal and end user websites.  The Senior .Net Engineer will interface directly with internal clients and is responsible for helping translate business asks into actionable requirements for software development.  Additional responsibilities of this role are as follows: 

 

Take a leading role the software design and architecture process.Lead the design discussions with other members of the team.Mentor junior members of team.Write clean and highly performant code.Participate in an on-call rotational duties with other team members.Support integration with multiple systems via RESTful APIsSupport Front-End team in integrating .Net code and components into the web applications.

QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree, preferably in computer science, computer engineering or other technical (STEM) field, or equivalent amount of education and experience.Strong problem solving skills and willingness to take on difficult engineering challenges.At least 6 years of experience in software development using ASP.Net and JavaScript for web applications Preferred QualificationsExperience building web applications in ASP.Net And C#Experience building web applications using JavaScriptExperience with .NET coreWorking knowledge of Microsoft IIS ServerWorking knowledge of DevOps and automated pipelines in a Windows Server environmentHave a strong knowledge of software design and architecture principalsThe ability to participate in design discussions.Strong written and oral communication skills.The ability to work with minimal direction and complete tasks in a timely manner.The ability to keep abreast of technologies and paradigms and recognize when they can benefit the business and the software team.The ability to learn and work with various languages and platforms as needed.Understanding of distributed software systems, asynchronous messaging, and RESTful Web Services. Familiarity with the agile software development methodology
