The Sr Social Media Content Producer will work within the Social Media team to oversee the management of large-scale social productions, content asset flow, and management, budget management, and interdepartmental ownership of production planning and scheduling. Content evaluation and leadership will also be a key responsibility for this role. This position is instrumental in providing the social and brand marketing teams with access to new video and still content that to tell compelling and impactful stories. Managing the overall asset capture plan and executing on the content sharing across our internal and external parties. The right candidate will have a passion for the creative process and have a creative eye, along with a meticulous approach to production and content management.
The Sr Social Media Content Producer will be involved in the design, execution and final deliverables for all productions led by the social media team. This person will work closely with the Creative Director and Social Media leaders on key projects that will fill our editorial calendar, , but will also lead independent shoots from beginning to end. This producer will manage the ongoing relationship with some of the most highly valued partners and the individual must be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, own and drive these productions and process to optimal efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all social media productions for the brand. This will include for our social media editorial needs. Yet, it could also include other multimedia productions as needed. Lead the production process, from the scout, planning, scheduling, ship communication, asset collection and cataloging, and distribution. Establishing clear schedules and roles as a project involvement can vary from internal shoots as well are external shoots.
Manage production staff and lead multiple shoot assignments. These are not limited to shipboard shoots, but also to destination shoots, and activations.
Forecast and budget management for all social productions. This will include negotiation of contracts.
Manage and own the stateroom reconciliation for all social media shoots, establish and own the editorial production calendar in conjunction with the Creative Director and the Brand Marketing Producer to ensure production timing and in market dates and needs collaborate.
Serve as the internal champion for production requests, approvals and planning for the brand. This position will lead the organization by answering questions, responding to social media requests to shoot onboard and providing basic guidance and support.
Management of talent, usage rights, and holding fees for music and talent used in social media content. Establish a contact list of production houses, producers, directors, etc. that can be leveraged for shoots.
Manage the collection, cataloguing, editing, and storage of all video and photo assets produced.
Partner with Creative Director, Brand Marketing Producer, and Digital Asset Management lead and collaborate to identify and establish an asset capture approach to fill our product content need.
Partner with Creative Director, Brand Marketing Producer, and Digital Asset Management lead to align on a seamless process making sure that assets are onboarded onto our DAM and communicated properly to all key stakeholders.
Develop clear status updates for all projects and share with VP of Marketing and AVP of Brand Marketing.
Proactively look for ways to improve the production process to benefit the organization and it’s need for a high value of assets that are aligned with the Brand vision.
Provide weekly reporting and status updates to supervisor and executives when applicable.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, and/or related field experience.

Experience in large-scale shoot management for social media/broadcast.
Creative expertise and passion that has translated into social media/broadcast deliverables and activations.
Very strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (internal and external), including Executive presentation skills.

Proven ability to lead 10+ productions successfully.
Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Available for travel, which can be as long as 7+ days/nights.
