SUMMARY:
Pace Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Account Executive within our Technical Field Service Division. This person will have the exciting opportunity to drive the sale of our full range of products and services, which include: Laboratory Instrument repair and maintenance, laboratory relocation, and facility services. This role incorporates a broad range of account management activities, from customer collaborations to coordinating with local operational colleagues, to providing technical consultative sales in pharma, biopharma, life science research, materials, and a wide range of applications.
The desired candidate should be highly self-motivated to develop and implement a territorial business plan, while working in unison with their manager in order to deliver a strong call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the Account Executive role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs to design solutions with lasting and meaningful impact.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Meet or exceed sales targets Maintain contract renewal rates of above 95% Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts Visit customers daily to highlight Pace solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way Build technical proficiency on Pace solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information Fully utilize of our Sales Contact Management Tools and Applications Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts Develop business through monthly plan of action Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry, or equivalent experience required 4+ years of relevant account management and sales experience are required Familiarity with liquid chromatography (HPLC, UHPLC) required Mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS) and gas chromatography (GC, GC-MS) required, ideally both instrumentation and analytical consumables Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical laboratory workflows and applications desired SalesForce experience preferred

Valid Driver's License 35% travel required
