We are hiring for a Senior Account Executive in our Employee Benefits division. This remote opportunity is headquartered out of Hunt Valley, MD office. Summary:

This position provides strategic relationship management and consultative services to large, multi-state, multi-site clients with self-funded health plans. As the leader of the client team, this role is responsible for assembling, mobilizing, and deploying the company’s health and welfare benefit resources to provide outstanding consulting, marketing, and communication efforts to meet our client-partner’s employee benefits needs. While utilizing their unique skills and abilities with health & welfare benefit plan design, they will consult with clients to deploy insurance coverages and claims paying services, coordinate all communication efforts, and use their understanding of our client-partners’ needs to expand business opportunities and further solidify our relationships with them. The ability to focus on delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential.

 

 

What You'll Do Retain existing client base by answering product and service questions in a timely and efficient mannerMarket annual renewals according to company policy.Assist Sales Executives with research and preparation for client presentations by evaluating current product results, identifying fill needs, monitoring competitive options, and analyzing and relaying customer experience.Recommend information about other products and services for additional organic sales growth.Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company.Delegate items when appropriate to the internal sales and marketing team to ensure all client deliverables are met timely.Direct the implementation and execution of sold accounts to the carrier and/or third-party administrator.Follow applicable processes and procedures to meet expectations and turnaround times.Sustain customer records by updating account information in all applicable database systems.Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.Represent AssuredPartners in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external customers.Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
