Senior Account Executive - NYFIX (Hybrid- flexible options)

Broadridge, an innovator and leading provider of financial software globally, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team.

Broadridge delivers trading and connectivity solutions across nearly all types of participants in global markets. This includes agency and principal trading for sell-sides, and connectivity and FIX tools for buy and sell-sides, exchanges and other technology providers. The team is responsible for both driving new business, as well as increasing revenue from existing accounts, through the sales and delivery of these solutions.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Responsibilities:

You will be an individual contributor, while working with a team, as you analyze sales cases and build opportunities to deliver innovative solutions. You will be reporting to the Head of Sales for NYFIX in NYC.

● Promote NYFIX’s Order Routing and Trade Matching solutions and services within your designated territory

● Manage the entire sales process including but not limited to: prospecting, lead qualification, engagement of senior decision makers, demonstrating product capabilities and closing

● Own and achieve sales targets while working within a team

● Develop strategic sales plans to facilitate target achievement

● Work closely with Sales Engineers to gather and understand requirements, prepare demos, organize follow-ups, etc

● Accurately update and forecast an opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.

● Meet regularly with existing accounts to build relationships, enhance retention, and scout potential opportunities

● Participate in analysis of competitive landscape, customer insights, and market trends

● Develop strong internal relationships with the ability to engage resources when appropriate, such as Product Management, Professional Services and the Executive Management Team

Qualifications:

● Evidence of a proven sales record in financial technology (4+ years)

● Experience with proactive lead generation

● Proven ability to present, discuss and propose at a senior level

● Experience successfully managing a complex enterprise sales process with multiple stakeholders, working with executive, business, and technical leaders

● Understanding of the global markets industry, with an emphasis on agency trading and connectivity solutions.

● Ability to work independently while being supported remotely by a larger team

● Ability to understand and maneuver inside large financial institutions

● Strong commercial awareness

● Strong, self-starting, driven attitude towards business growth

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● An understanding of buy-side and sell-side trading/execution workflow

● Knowledge of the allocation/confirmation process in regards to the trade lifecycle

Salary range $140,000.00- $150,000.00 Bonus Eligible.
