Senior Account Executive - SLED
Everbridge seeks a Senior Account Executive (Sr. AE) with a demonstrated track record of achievement selling into State, Local, and Higher Education. The Sr. AE will be responsible for selling both new and growing businesses into a select SLED account list. The AE will sell the full suite of Everbridge solutions and be responsible for developing relationships with multiple buyers within these accounts to develop and close larger opportunities.
Territory: Must live & cover the following: FL, AL, GA, MS, NC, & USVIWhat you'll do:Develop a strong understanding of target buyers, domain knowledge, products and competitors.Prospect and identify new opportunities to build and maintain a healthy pipeline.Demonstrated ability to identify and sell to multiple buyers within an organization.Implement a consultative, solution selling, methodology.Ability to develop and close sales exceeding $100,000 in annual valueWork with Marketing and Business Development to execute campaigns to top buyers.Exceed assigned sales objectives and quarterly bookings quotas.Accurately manage and forecast your business using Salesforce.What you'll bring:Minimum of 5+ years in field software sales role, primarily selling into State and Local Government accounts as well as Higher Education accounts.Product or solution experience selling into Security, Compliance, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, HR, Communications, Facilities Management, IT, IT Ops, and Development team buyersStrong hunting, prospecting, and cold-calling skills.Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas– you love crushing your goals!Formal sales training. (Force Management/MEDDPICC preferred)The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $106,000 - $120,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
