A day in the life.
As our Senior Account Manager on the Business Insurance team, you’ll collaborate with our sales team, clients, and insurance carrier underwriters in order to successfully grow and retain clients. You will act a client consultant, providing clients with recommendations and advisory services to help them achieve their long-term goals. Our Senior Account Managers are accountable for providing excellent client service. We are looking for someone who is energized by working with clients and is comfortable educating clients on the various lines of coverage available to them.
Develop and maintain working relationships with clients on an internal and external basis (pre-renewal/renewal/service schedule)Coordinate the service needs of clients, including questions, endorsementsAccount round existing clients for coverages not presently issuedMaintain product knowledge and service standards for all product service linesConduct in-person meetings with clients and carriersMaintain client information in Sagitta system for data integrityProvide pre-renewal packet and provide service scheduleAssist in training and development of the teamOur future colleague.
We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
7+ years Commercial Insurance experience, brokerage experience preferredThorough understanding of the insurance industry including forms and coveragesExcellent interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize competing deliverables and pivot based on urgencyMicrosoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) requiredP&C Producers LicenseThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Strong knowledge working with clients in the construction, health care, pharma, and/or nonprofit industries experience is highly valuedFamiliarity with SagittaWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
