Senior Accountant, Corporate
Responsibilities The Senior Accountant, Corporate will be primarily responsible for the accounting associated with various division platform entities. The Senior Accountant position, located in New York, will report to the Controller, Corporate Accounting. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and year end work papers, including account reconciliations Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables Assist in the compilation of information for the overall Company year-end audit Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall departmental goals and objectives Special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of professional experience, CPA and public accounting experience a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to details Strong analytical ability Excellent written and communication skills Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting software a plus This role is on a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days per week at the NY office is required.
