ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all aspects of the month-end close process, including posting journal entries, performing calculations, maintaining workpapers, and analyzing variances.Prepare and review monthly consolidated financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting.Analyze balance sheet activity, prepare reconciliations, and resolve reconciling items while reviewing and approving work prepared by staff accountants.Oversee daily cash accounting and trust accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for and reconciled.Manage accounting for construction projects and leases, collaborating with office administrators and advising finance leadership on cash flow needs.Act as a key contributor in finance transformation projects and technology initiatives, driving automation and process improvements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Advanced analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise accounting software (3E preferred).Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
