A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Senior Accountant, you will have Fixed Asset responsibilities and Treasury responsibilities for North America region to include: maintaining the capital expenditures system and Fixed Asset records and monthly reporting. In this role, you will report to the Finance Director.
You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Ensuring compliance with company policy, accounting principles and regulatory requirements which include proper authorization, documentation, proper performance processes
+ Fixed Asset responsibilities for the Americas include:
+ Maintain capital expenditure records and systems
+ Track Capital expenditure spending and projects
+ Capitalize closed projects and run monthly depreciation for various depreciation books
+ Prepare monthly reports
+ Lead CAPEX budget process
+ Conduct physical inventory of fixed assets
+ Treasury responsibilities include:
+ Maintain daily cash management/bank activity by record bank previous day transactions and resolve discrepancies
+ Daily maintain bank systems, reports and softwares for North America region
+ Prepare weekly, monthly reports for cash forecasting, reconciliations and SOX controls
+ Monitor daily cash needs for all bank accounts
+ Prepare weekly wires and upload Positive Pay files for US checks
Skills You Will Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or if degree is in Finance or Business, etc., then must also have 4+ years of related Accounting experience.
+ Minimum of 3+ years of Fixed Asset and 1+ years of Treasury/Bank experience.
+ Strong financial analysis skills
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills is required
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Strong organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
+ 3 years of ERP knowledge – SAP preferred.
+ Attention to detail and willingness to improve processes.
+ Motivation to grow with the company and a diligent work attitude.
