Job Description
Our client who operates in the Insurance sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years post articles experience, ideally within the Financial Services industry with IFRS17 and long term insurance exposure.
Responsibilities:
Accounting to Trial Balance Assist with Payroll and HR queries Perform review procedures on Financial Analysis - Income, Expense, and related analytical reports Debtors/Creditors & Income/Expenses Perform review procedures on Fixed Asset Register, Excel - Review balance and calculation ensure the FAR agrees to the Trial Balance Prepare IFRS16 related calculations Budget & Forecast Payroll and Payroll reporting, salaries and wages Perform review procedures on EMP501 submissions, on Easy file - in line with EMP501 submissionsRequirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification Completed SAICA articles 3+ years post-article experience Minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience in Payroll Applied knowledge of IFRSPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
