Senior Accountant
Job Title: Sr. Accountant Descriptions: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Sr. Accountant to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in high-volume environments, handling month-end close processes, and managing high-volume reconciliations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to our financial operations and ensure accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. + Perform high-volume reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. + Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. + Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making. + Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. + Provide support for audits and other financial reviews. + Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + CPA or equivalent certification preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the financial services industry. + Strong experience with month-end close processes and high-volume reconciliations. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Type + This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site + This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Atlanta, Georgia and some days remote. Work Environment + Corp HQ in the banking industry. Casual environment team of 10.
