Senior Accountant

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor degree in accounting or finance requiredMinimum of three (3) to five (5) years in Accounting in a manufacturing companyMust be proficient in Excel.  Super-User preferred.Must be punctual and reliable in terms of attendance and work hours.Experience in Aerospace manufacturing preferred.Experience in SOX preferred.Exposure to cost accounting preferred, but not required.  Must be willing to be trained to perform certain cost accounting functions.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares reports of key operational metrics on a timely basis for tracking performance to forecast and budget. and meet external reporting requirements.  Analyzes operational performance in comparison to profit plan and prepares related reports for use by operational personnel;Prepares, analyze and reviews product margins, including DVP Analysis;Prepares month-end general ledger entries.  Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the financial data in the Trial Balance;Responsible for month end processing of ERP system including running all ME reports, closing the current month and opening the new month;Monitors daily ERP interface to Oracle General Ledger and Accounts receivable and trouble-shoots any problems;Calculate and validate CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects) Savings;Manage Fixed Asset from RFA, project accounting, asset tag management, disposition, and preparation of Capital Status Report.Prepare monthly account reconciliations.Conducts monthly internal audits (ASATS) in accordance with internal audit procedures and compliance calendar;Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with Company Standards of Business Conduct;Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards;Performs other duties as assigned by the controller.
