What You’ll Do

The Senior Accountant reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is primarily responsible for assisting with managing the accounts payable (“AP”) team to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate accounting, in compliance with best practices.

How you will contribute:

Perform AP transactions, including accounting for vendor invoices and employee expenses. Must be able to work with multiple regions, currencies, and accounting ledgers Ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and expenses Process all types of payment transactions including ACH, wires and paper checks Prepare monthly AP accrual journal entries and assist with month-end closing Collaborate with cross-functional teams (treasury, finance, IT, etc.) and external banking partners Ensure all treasury functions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and reconciliations, are correctly set up Perform the setup of new bank accounts, including account opening, signatories, and integrating accounts into internal systems Assist with the implementation of new banking products or services, such as cash pooling or payment processing platforms Perform banking operations and monthly bank accounts reconciliations Ensure AP compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements Assist in developing and implementing controls, policies, and procedures for effective internal control. Apply best practices to improve the AP processes Provide excellent customer service. Work closely with operations, HR and other internal customers to process payment requests on a timely basis and resolve any issues that arise Execute and follow through on commitments with a strong attention to detail Other duties may be assigned

You will have: 

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting/Finance; 5 years + of experience in AP and Treasury related management role Experience with Oracle ERP a strong plus Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs Superior problem-solving skills

This position is open to onsite or remote candidates. 

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 (DOE)
