Job Description
The CPA Senior Accountant will participate in the accounting, consolidation, and reporting of global operations and will have responsibility for assigned technical accounting areas. These areas include stock-based compensation, retirement plan accounting, segment reporting, legal/environmental analysis, identifiable intangible assets and goodwill, common stock/EPS, and debt-related processes. The Senior Accountant will also participate in the preparation and filing of SEC forms, as well as special projects such as the implementation of new accounting rules, regulations, and standards of the SEC and FASB, acquisitions/dispositions, software implementation, and other projects as needed.
Skills
+ Bachelors in accounting & 2+ years relevant experience
+ SEC reporting
+ Audit background
+ Consolidations
+ Technical areas of GAAP accounting
+ Active CPA
+ Excel proficiency
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to interact with external auditors
+ Respond to internal and external questions
+ Up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements
