Senior Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The role involves assisting in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring financial statements are both timely and accurate. You will be tasked with managing cash position, preparing general ledger entries, monthly account reconciliations, and assisting with year-end audit, preparation of tax returns, and other reporting requirements. Responsibilities: • Assist with the general ledger month-end close and financial statement preparation and analysis • Manage daily cash activities including review, tracking, and reconciliation • Prepare and post journal entries with accurate and supporting documentation • Maintain financial records in compliance with department policy and procedures • Prepare account reconciliations, quantifying and explaining all variances and assisting in the resolution of all variances that are not timing differences • Prepare schedules, work papers, and explanations for annual financial audits • Prepare reports and schedules for annual tax filings • Ensure appropriate accounting controls and procedures are in place • Meet all financial reporting deadlines for monthly close, account reconciliations, audits, tax filings, etc. • Actively participate in Lean Management System of problem-solving and contribute ideas to improve processes, procedures, etc. • Handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion • Utilize Microsoft Office to maximize efficiency Requirements • Candidate must possess proven experience in Account Reconciliation • Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are essential • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required • Familiarity with General Ledger management is crucial • Experience in processing Journal Entries is a must • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary • Experience in Month End Close activities is required • Proficiency in using NetSuite is desired • Familiarity with Oracle software is necessary • Experience with SAP software is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
