Responsibilities Monthly preparation of management accounts across UK entitiesCreating monthly presentation of the financial results for the local management teamMaintenance of Balance Sheet reconciliationsProducing management information cash flow forecasts commentary on resultsSupporting system development across BU GL accounting teamContribute to the preparation of annual budgetingReview spend against budget and challenge key stakeholders on significant variancesDevelop and improve reporting to enhance insight and drive valueEnhance automation of financial processes and reporting to minimise manual work; creating efficiency's to focus on adding valueSupport in developing more junior members of the Finance teamAssist in preparation of yearly statutory accounts, tax packs and handling of the yearly external audit duties for the UK entitiesRegular site visits to support operations and ensure accurate financial reporting Skills / Qualifications ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedProven experience as a management accountantGood ability to communicate clearly to provide commentary to management teamGood team working skill and positive attitude and pro-active thinking, initiative taking and flexible approachAbility to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent numeracy skillsAbility to demonstrate credibility and proven success in driving improvements as a value added partnerAnalytic mindsetGerman Language skills desirableExposure to HGB reporting desirable Company Overview
