Senior Accountant
International
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will report to the General Accounting Manager and will be a key member of a cohesive team that is responsible for all the finance/accounting functions at the Accounting Center. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the team with various day-to-day activities as well as performing numerous month-end close tasks. In this role you will working with our IBM Partner in Bangalore India to support some of the functions.
Responsibilities
+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks including journal entries, related reports, and account reconciliations
+ Create and/or review desk procedures
+ Support Sales Tax filing activities
+ Complete special projects as needed
+ Prepare ad hoc analysis as required
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
+ At least 1 year of accounting experience
OR
+ Bachelor’s degree and CPA
+ At least 1 year of accounting experience
OR
+ Master’s degree in Accounting
OR
+ Master’s degree and CPA
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. + Knowledgeable with MS Excel, including pivot tables and other advanced Excel functions
+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work cross-functionally
+ Knowledge of basic accounting principles
+ Ability to think through problems and recommend solutions
+ Knowledge of SAP ERP
