Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role requires working with minimal supervision to become the financial and accounting expert for assigned responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to meeting deadlines, advanced critical thinking skills, and a dedication to process improvement. Responsibilities: Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet adjustments, and financial consolidations.Review staff accountants’ work and support subsidiaries with accounting, SOX controls, and integrations.Reconcile high-risk accounts and manage the Blackline reconciliation process.Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to fulfill data requests and ensure compliance with SOX controls.Perform variance analysis, financial commentary, and handle additional assignments as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Five (5) – seven (7) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing settingBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, CPA or masters degree preferred Experience with JD Edwards ERP systems is required Benefits and Perks: Pay: $80,000 – $100,000 annuallyVarious benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k), pension, life insurance, a paid time off program with paid holidays, and various wellness programs Your New Organization:Join an established manufacturer and distributor of specialty products for the HVAC-R, plumbing, electrical, and construction industries.
