In the role of Senior Accountant, we'll count on you to: Perform complex journal entry processing, cost allocations, monthly and annual financial reporting activities, and special projects.Perform high risk account reconciliations in a timely manner.Support a proactive continual improvement environment within Corporate Accounting intended to refine internal processes and align with best practices.Collaborate with teams and personnel throughout HDR to accomplish mutual objectives.Support internal activities related to annual external financial audits, and filing of financials in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, statutory requirements, or management.Work cross functionally with Operations Accounting to research and resolve accounting issues, proposing process and system improvements where needed.Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, as requested by management.Preferred QualificationsBachelor degree in accounting or related field is highly preferred.Minimum of 2-5 years of corporate accounting, public accounting, internal audit or related experience is highly preferred.Must be self-motivated, well organized, and able to work well independently.Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities required.Previous experience with intercompany eliminations in a multi-currency environment is preferred.Openness to utilize technologies, such as Hyperion tools or process automation tools, to complete responsibilities efficiently and with minimal opportunities for error.Strong written and oral communication skills required.Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of financial and non -financial people.Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenging projects required.Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.High proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and strong analytical skills is a must.Ability to obtain a CPA or similar designation is preferred.Previous experience with Oracle EBS, and/or Hyperion is a plus but not required.Preference given to local candidates.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field A minimum of 3 years relevant experience An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
