Senior Accountant
Job Title: Sr. Accountant

Job Description

As a SR. Accountant, you will prepare and analyze financial statements with precision and insight, using your expertise in accounting principles to guide our organization’s financial decisions. You will craft detailed reports such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements that reveal the true financial position of our organization. Your role will involve reviewing financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance, maintaining our high standards. You will oversee accounting operations or complex segments of the accounting function, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to coordinate accounting matters, fostering teamwork and alignment across the organization.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements with precision and insight.Craft detailed reports such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.Review financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.Oversee accounting operations or complex segments of the accounting function.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate accounting matters.Ensure all necessary documents are completed fully and accurately.Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S standards.Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned, bringing flexibility and enthusiasm to a range of tasks.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.Expertise in GAAP.At least 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting.Self-sufficient with the ability to communicate cross-functionally.Proficiency in reconciliation, month-end processes, financial statement preparation, and financial reporting.Experience in accounting, general ledger, sales reporting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPerform work under minimal supervision.Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.Typically requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.CPA certification preferred but not required.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.40
