Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis and insights.Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or equivalent certification preferred.5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and general ledger management.Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00

Company benefits include full health, dental, medical, 401k - this position would be eligible for bonus opportunities depending on the performance of the company and individual
