About Us:
One of Aston Carter's top clients is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance department. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00
