Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for our client in Valley Center. As a Senior Accountant, your central duty will be to oversee your company's financial and accounting tasks, ensuring that all relevant laws and regulations are followed. Responsibilities: + Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents. + Handle annual audit files and coordinate auditing procedures. + Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline accounting functions and operations. + Analyze financial data and use findings to increase profitability and manage expenses. + Participate in budgeting processes and help make budget recommendations as necessary. Requirements + Bachelor's or higher degree in accounting or finance. + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is desired. + A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial or accounting roles. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of accounting software. + Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal laws regarding finance, taxation, and insurance. + Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
