Description One of our clients in the Walnut Creek area is looking for a 4 months contract Sr Accountant. ***Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration*** + Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) considering the company’s goals and financial standing + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports + Oversee accounting procedures and prepare for audits + Participate in tax reviews and prepare pertinent documents + Review systems for improvements and implement new systems + Advise on procedures and financial management Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree would be a plus. + 5+ years’ experience in general or tax accounting + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Experience with accounting software and MS Excel + Strong attention to detail and good business acumen.
