Description We are in the search for a proficient Senior Accountant that has a strong inventory background. This is a 3-month contract opportunity, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Senior Accountant, your role will revolve around managing inventory, working on spreadsheets, extracting data from Workday, and assisting with year-end procedures. You will be stepping into a complex role that requires the ability to reconcile and understand inventory systems, utilize complex Excel formulas, and work autonomously. Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant include: • Handle inventory management, including reconciliation and report generation • Proficient use of Excel for data manipulation and analytical tasks • Contribute to the year-end procedures, particularly in the area of accounting • Assist with the implementation of ERP, with a focus on reconciling inventory from old and new systems • Provide support for any financial reporting • Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, and Journal Entries • Assist in the Month End Close process and handle Account Reconciliation • Handle Inventory Reconciliation, Inventory Reports, and Inventory Variance • Prepare Financial Statements and handle Monthly Financial Reporting.
